Coronavirus measures

The City of Brussels has taken several decisions in order to best respect the measures of the federal government in the fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19). More info: coronavirus measures by the City of Brussels. Please note: at the Administrative Centre & liaison offices, all citizens are asked to come alone, maximum 15 minutes before the appointment time, wear a face mask (obligatory) and disinfect their hands.

Campaign. Do not feed the waste monster!

A 5th class of the Institut De Mot-Couvreur school made a video to make people aware of the amount of waste thrown on the ground. Watch the video below!

Each year the Cleaning Service of the City of Brussels works with a non-profit organization, on a voluntary basis, to organize activities in primary and secondary schools on the territory of the City of Brussels. These fun and free activities are meant to inform children and young people about cleaning and respect for public space. At the end of 2018, students from the Institut De Mot-Couvreur thus realized the video Do not feed the waste monster!

(Accessibility of the contents of the video: the video contains no dialogue, only background music and following texts, in French and Dutch: Do not feed the waste monster! / Public cleaning, everyone's business / Carried out by the students of the 5th SSE of the De Mot-Couvreur Institute in Brussels with the help of GoodPlanet Belgium and the Cleaning Service of the City of Brussels).
