City of Brussels awarded at Brussels Be Fair Awards 2022
In May 2022, the City of Brussels was awarded the 'Best Fair Speaker' prize at the Brussels Be Fair Awards, held by the Brussels Capital Region - Brussels International.
The award was given to the City of Brussels for all of its actions that draw attention to the basic principles of fair trade, its social and environmental value, respect for workers' rights and a fair price for producers.
To this end, the City of Brussels undertook several actions, such as the Fast Fashion Tour (Ach'ACT), the Fair Walk (Oxfam) and a Fortnight of International Solidarity on the theme of decent work
