The City of Brussels becomes a 'Think Pink city'

On Monday 10 October 2022, the City of Brussels officially became a Think Pink city or 'Pink City'. This label from the Think Pink association reflects the desire of the City to actively fight against breast cancer through concrete actions of awareness, education and prevention.

The Think Pink label is awarded for a period of three years. After that period, it can be renewed. With the label, the City of Brussels undertakes to:

  • communicate the promotion of breast cancer screening and self-examination through its various media channels
  • make municipal staff and citizens aware of the importance of breast cancer screening through the public hospitals on its territory and the 'Brussels Pink City' label
  • promote and make the Think Pink campaigns visible through events and actions in schools, sports and cultural centres,...
  • organise at least one event/action a year in collaboration with Think Pink
