Coronavirus measures

The City of Brussels has taken several decisions in order to best respect the measures of the federal government in the fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19). More info: coronavirus measures by the City of Brussels. Please note: at the Administrative Centre & liaison offices, all citizens are asked to come alone, maximum 15 minutes before the appointment time, wear a face mask (obligatory) and disinfect their hands.

Collection of Christmas trees

The collection of Christmas trees coincides with the collection of garden waste.

The Bruxelles Propreté - Net Brussel Agency is responsible for the collection of Christmas trees in Brussels. A Christmas tree must be completely 'dismantled'. The tree may not:

  • be decorated (Christmas balls are no green waste)
  • have a pot anymore

The Christmas trees will be collected on the same day as the green waste (1x a week).

The days of the collection in your street in Brussels can be found at the waste collection calendar.
