'Copyriot' is about the search for solid ground in a world that increasingly looks like a copy of a copy.
Inspired by Charlie Kaufman's films and by Dostoevsky's absurdist short story 'The Double', Krapp wants to evoke a tragicomical mirror world full of strange duplications and dubious doppelgängers.
Although individuality appears to reign supreme, we are increasingly mistaken for our virtual doppelgängers: idealised ghosts that look a lot like us and - who knows - perhaps one day will become more 'real' than us.
