After all, welcoming a dog also means welcoming its owner.

More than 88,000 dogs are registered in the Brussels-Capital Region. They are an integral part of city life and the local customer base.

In this way, businesses are helping to make Brussels the most dog-friendly capital in Europe.

The list of participating shops, cafes and restaurants is published here so that you can easily find the right addresses.

Who can participate?

Would you like to be part of the network? Then you need to meet a few simple conditions:

  • Be a business located within the territory of the City of Brussels
  • Be willing to welcome dogs into your business
  • If applicable, comply with horeca regulations

What does the City of Brussels offer you in return?

By joining the network, you will enjoy various benefits:

  • A sticker from the 'Dog Friendly Place' campaign to display in your window
  • Great visibility on the City's website and on an interactive map

Commitment from participating businesses?

As a member of the network, you commit to:

  • Welcoming dogs with at least a bowl of fresh water
  • During hot periods, also placing bowls of fresh water outside your business
