'Missing Type' campaign of the Red Cross

From 10 to 16 June 2019, the Red Cross will once again participate in the 'Missing Type' campaign. The purpose of this campaign? The disappearance of the letters A, O and B, the three letters of the blood groups, from the urban and digital environment to increase the awareness of blood donation.

This campaign is intended to make the population aware of the importance of donating blood. Especially during the summer holidays the Red Cross is struggling with declining blood supplies. For the occasion, the locations for blood donation are exceptionally open on Saturday 15 June 2019 from 10 am to 5 pm.
