Tour à Plomb cultural and sports centre

The Tour à Plomb cultural and sports centre is a community centre that is intended for various forms of reflection, expression and creation on a cultural, socio-cultural, artistic and sporting level. It falls under the authority of the Youth Service of the City of Brussels.

As a neighborhood infrastructure, the Tour à Plomb Centre is open to the residents of the City of Brussels, more specifically the inhabitants and the organized groups (non-profit organizations, public services and institutions) of the Jardin aux Fleurs quarter. That neighborhood is bordered by the small ring road, the Rue Antoine Dansaert and the Boulevard Lemonnier.

Thanks to its soft floor, the gym is ideal for gymnastics, bodybuilding and fitness, dance, martial arts, boxing, psychomotility and circus. It is also possible to practice table tennis. Ball sports are not allowed.

This room can be used for concerts, plays, cinema screenings, conferences,... Once the stands are folded up, this space can also be used for sporting purposes: dance, martial arts, circus,...

  • Capacity: 140 seats on the stands + 40 seats on the ground - 300 standing places
  • Dimensions of the stage space (increased or on the ground): minimum 6x8m, maximum 10x8m

The foyer is an ideal place for exhibitions, screenings, readings, conferences or meetings. The bar in the foyer can be used when an event takes place in the performance hall (intermission, before and after the performance).

  • Equipment: a large bar with sink, refrigerators and barrels, storage spaces, tables, chairs and high tables, DJ area,...
  • Space dimension: 30x10m
  • Capacity: 180 people
  • Floor covering: oiled parquet flooring

This large space, located under the attic, can be separated into three multipurpose rooms by removable partitions. It can host exhibitions, conferences, activities and events: homework school, literacy classes, soft gymnastics classes, language classes, storytelling workshops, craft workshops and more.

  • Floor covering: linoleum

The windows cannot be hidden.

In addition to organized activities, it is also possible to rent the different spaces of the Tour à Plomb Centre to organize events, practice a sport,....
