The YouthStart programme is available free of charge to young people who are unemployed and have no training. Those who have lost their benefits are eligible to enrol if they are:
- aged 30 or under
- unemployed and not attending school or enrolled part-time
- without a diploma or with at most a secondary school certificate (or a diploma not recognised in Belgium)
- proficient in at least one of the two national languages
During an 8-day training course - one at the beginning of each month - participants are supported by two coaches. Between January and December 2026, around 10 YouthStart training sessions are planned.
