The City of Brussels is organising a bicycle market at the Place de la Monnaie. The event is free and open to all. Come discover, test and enjoy.
What types of bikes are accepted?
Any bike in good condition: city bikes, road bikes, children's bikes, mountainbikes,...
We do not accept scooters or electric bikes.
For high-value bikes, a proof of purchase may be requested.
Maximum of 5 bikes per person.
How does it work?
- Drop off your bike between 9 am and noon.
- A technical sheet is filled out to assess the condition and determine a fair price.
- If your bike is sold, you will be notified by text message and will receive the proceeds from the sale via bank transfer within two weeks of the flea market. A commission is charged based on the price of your bike.
- If it is not sold, you can collect it or leave it as a donation.
Each bike comes with a technical sheet detailing any necessary repairs, so you know exactly what you're getting.
Test before you buy!
In exchange for an ID, you can try out a bike before making a purchase.
Once you've chosen and paid for your bike, you'll receive an official document, making you the proud new owner of your two-wheeler.
Payment is by card only.
