Brussels was chosen to host the start of the Tour de France in 2019.
Schedule
- From 4 to 7 July. Fan Park at the place de Brouckère (events, games and workshops)
- Thursday 4 July. External site Presentation of the Tour de France teams at the Grand-Place (with parade of the teams in the city centre from 17h15 to 19h45)
- Saturday 6 July. 1st stage, Bruxelles - Charleroi - Brussel (start Place Royale at 12h, finish Avenue du Parc Royal between 16h45 and 17h15)
- Sunday 7 July. 2nd stage, Bruxelles Palais Royal - Brussel Atomium - team time trial (start Place des Palais first team at 14h30, finish between 15h and 16h45 at the Atomium)

The trams, buses and metro of the STIB will be free on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July 2019:
