The City of Brussels has won the CAP48 award for corporate social responsibility. Every year, this award recognises organisations that are committed to inclusion, accessibility and the professional integration of people with disabilities.
For the City of Brussels, building a more inclusive city is a daily commitment. This is thanks, above all, to the women and men who devote their talent and energy to the municipality every day.

Foudil: "As I can only use my right hand, we've tried to position all the materials I need on the right-hand side, unlike at other counters where everything is on the left. My name is Foudil, and I'm an administrative assistant in the Citizen Affairs Department."
Didier: "That's what we call a reasonable accommodation. For example, there's speech recognition software, a chair, a customised screen, and an app too. Technology is a huge help these days. We've carried out extensive research to adapt the working environment as effectively as possible to the individual."
Diallo: "What I like about my job is the human contact - talking about someone's needs and turning those needs into adjustments. That's something that motivates me to go to work every morning."
Didier: "The City won the CAP48 award for socially responsible businesses. Of course I'm proud. It's a long-term endeavour, with motivated staff and people who are genuinely committed."
Diallo: "Inclusion isn't just about figures. It's about being flexible, so that people are satisfied with their working environment and the nature of their work. And that's exactly what the City is doing now. And the results are already there, with our CAP48 trophy."
