As soon as you arrive on the Grand-Place, you'll be captivated by the imposing silhouette of this emblematic building, a jewel of Gothic architecture.

In 23 different steps, around the bend of a monumental staircase, a precious cabinet or a room well known to the people of Brussels, this tour will take you from one era to another, retracing nearly 6 centuries of history. You can explore the City Hall at your own pace with the help of your videoguide.

For the more adventurous, take a guided tour on the weekends and climb up to the tower, which offers a 360-degree view of the city. This breathtaking experience allows you to admire the skyline of Brussels.

The panoramic guided tour offers the opportunity to discover two of the main halls (the Wedding Hall and the Gothic Hall) and the balcony of the City Hall, with a bird's eye view of the Grand-Place.

The visit continues with an ascent to the tower of the City Hall, reached by a spiral staircase. You are rewarded at the top by an exceptional view of Brussels.

Guided tours tailored to school groups are available at a cost of 120 euros per group of 25 people. To book a school visit, contact cityhall@bmeo.be.

How can I book my visit?

You can External sitebuy your ticket online or on the spot in the building's reception hall, accessible via the inner courtyard of the City Hall (you have to pass through the entrance porch under the tower). Cash payments are not possible.

Is the City Hall accessible to people with reduced mobility?

Yes, the City Hall is accessible to people with reduced mobility. However, if you require special assistance, please contact cityhall@bmeo.be.

For whom is the visit intended?

The videoguide is available in 6 languages: French, Dutch, German, English, Italian and Spanish. Thanks to the adult itinerary and the more fun family itinerary, there's something for everyone.

Are cloakrooms available?

Lockers are available free of charge to store your personal belongings. Please note that they cannot accommodate large suitcases or bulky luggage.
