From Monday 23 September 2024, the new tram line 10 will link Neder-Over-Heembeek to the south of Brussels.
This crossing will improve connections between this district and the city centre, and subsequently with the whole of the Brussels Region.
Inauguration on 21 and 22 September 2024
The inauguration of tram line 10 will take place on Saturday 21 September and Sunday 22 September (Car Free Sunday).
From the Place du Zavelput to the Nelson Mandela Stadium, there will be plenty of activities for young and old to celebrate a new form of mobility for Neder-Over-Heembeek:
- Food trucks
- Fanfare
- Entertainment for children
- Draisines (rail vehicles)
- Brussels Mobility stands
- Discovery game
- ...

- 10h45. Arrival of the King on board the inaugural tram at the Place Peter Benoit and official speeches
- 12h-17h. Festivities and free draisine ride (departure from Place du Zavelput)
Sunday 22 September 2024
