The City of Brussels is committed to supporting cultural actors and those who bring the city to life. Do you have a cultural and/or tourism project and would like to receive support from the City of Brussels in 2026?
The City supports associations that contribute to the cultural richness, attractiveness and influence of Brussels in all its forms.
Filling in the grant application form is a prerequisite for receiving a grant.
Moreover, as soon as a grant has been confirmed, you are obliged to integrate the visuals of the City of Brussels in your communication materials.
An activity report or evaluation form may also be required by the City of Brussels.
Operational funding
Your complete file must be submitted by 31 March 2026.
Operational funding aims to support the activities and regular operations of an association working in the territory of the City of Brussels (Brussels-City, Laeken, Haren and Neder-Over-Heembeek).
One-off event or other activities
You must submit your application no later than 3 months before the event or the activity.
This funding must cover a specific project on the territory of the City of Brussels (Brussels-City, Laeken, Haren, Neder-Over-Heembeek).
New criterion since 2024
Special attention goes to raising awareness of the need to welcome and employ people with disabilities.

Requests for grants linked to an event in public space will only be analysed and processed if an event application has been submitted to the City. More info:

What is not eligible?
The City of Brussels does not allocate funding to creative works/productions or professional federations.
