The pedestrian zone around the Grand-Place and in the centre of Brussels has been extended as part of the measures for the Pentagon low-traffic neighbourhood (since 16 August 2022).

Rules in the pedestrian zone
Several rules apply in the pedestrian zone:
- no parking of cars
- charging and discharging of people and goods (deliveries) only between 4 am and 11 am (taxis included)
- cyclists are allowed, if indicated by the signs
- taxis are allowed
