Climate Plan - Youth

Climate Plan - Youth

With more than 42,000 children under the age of 17 living within its borders, as well as around a hundred nurseries, kindergartens and primary schools, more than 30 secondary schools, universities, colleges and arts establishments, the City of Brussels is a city of youth.

The Climate Plan devotes a specific section to them in order to:

  • Protect them from health risks
  • Raise their awareness and mobilise them to become partners in the fight against climate change
  • Welcoming them to exemplary locations and reinforcing the sharing of knowledge between those who work there
