Are you moving house, carrying out works or expecting a delivery? You can rent no parking signs from the City of Brussels.
Renting no-parking signs does not in itself reserve a parking space.
To reserve an area on public roads (for a move, construction works, a delivery,...), you must first obtain a permit for the temporary occupation of the public road via the External siteOsiris regional platform.
Once the permit has been granted, the signs are used to inform local residents that the space will be reserved and that they cannot park there during the indicated period.
The service includes:
- Provision of the signs
- Placement of the signs on site
- Removal of the signs
Good to know!
It is strictly forbidden to block a parking space with chairs, pallets or any other objects. This is a breach of the Traffic Code and the General police regulations.
No-parking signs may only be used from Monday to Friday, between 7 am and 7 pm. Outside these hours, no intervention is authorised.
It is not possible to install no-parking signs in a pedestrian zone. In this case, you must request a pass.
- The address concerned must be located within the territory of the City of Brussels.
- You must first obtain authorisation to occupy the public road via the Osiris regional platform.
- Apply for a temporary occupation of the public road via the Osiris regional platform.
- Rent the signs from the City of Brussels: online via the External siterequest form.

- 1 day: 114.03 euros
- Additional day: 14.87 euros
The rental request must be submitted no later than 10 working days before the date on which the signs are to be installed.
