Technical and logistical support for urban gardens

On behalf of the City of Brussels, the Maximilian Park Farm ('Ferme du Parc Maximilien') can help you with the technical and logistical management of your urban vegetable gardens.

The cost of this professional support is covered by the City of Brussels.

These categories of gardens can benefit from these services:

  • gardens on land owned by the City of Brussels
  • gardens linked to the City of Brussels by an agreement
  • gardens organised within a school of the Public Education Department of the City of Brussels

Vegetable gardeners who are not on this list can still fill in the application form. These requests will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

The following is a non-exhaustive list of possible types of interventions:

  • Advisory visits
  • Installation of fencing
  • Provision of soil, compost or potting compost
  • Installation of a rainwater collector
  • Installation of a composter
  • Maintenance of existing equipment
  • Delivery of plants
  • Any other intervention that meets the eligibility conditions

In addition to these measures, crop maintenance in schools during school holidays is also possible (watering, weeding, planting, pruning, harvesting, clearing brushwood,...).

Fill in the External site application form.

If you have any problems filling in this form or if you have any questions, please contact: potagers@brucity.be

Please note: each request for assistance will be subject to validation. Interventions will be made within the limits of the dedicated budget.
