MyBXL maintenance and telephone accessibility

Due to maintenance works, the External site MyBXL citizen portal will be unavailable from Friday 2 December at 1 pm until Saturday 3 December at 7:30 am. Interruptions are still possible on Saturday 3 December. Due to the move of the services of the City of Brussels to the new Brucity Administrative Centre (on 12 December 2022), the waiting time for a telephone answer may be temporarily longer as well.


Certificate of morality

The certificate of morality (Extract from the Police Record 596.1.8) is delivered to every person working or wanting to work, in a occasional or permanent way, in a bar (horeca, snack,...).

How to obtain a certificate of morality?

Documents to be supplied

  • ID card
  • a mandate (PDF, 29.04 KB) and the copy of the ID card if a third person comes to collect the certificate of morality (the employer cannot make the demand for his employee)

Useful information: any demand introduced by a bar manager (establishment in which alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks or sold to be consumed on the spot or to be taken) whose establishment is situated on the territory of the City Brussels must be introduced:
