Start of Winter Wonders 2025 at the Grand-Place.
This inauguration heralds the start of an edition dedicated to creativity, heritage and collective magic.
The show begins in the dark on the Grand-Place. Silence precedes wonder: enormous luminous birds take flight, carried by a laser ballet and monumental mapping that decorates the tower of the City Hall and the façades with a colourful graphic animation.
Christmas tree and new nativity scene
The highlight of the evening is the lighting of the large Christmas tree and the new nativity scene, designed by Brussels designers. A choir then accompanies the audience from one symbolic place to another.
In the courtyard of the City Hall, the immersive installation Morphosis completes this sensory experience: it invites you to contemplate nature at the heart of heritage.
