Gabriel: My name is Gabriel, I joined the City in 2012 at the Quai de la Voirie (8 years of Public Cleaning) and since two years I have been a graffiti remover.
As a graffiti remover, I cannot just clean any building, our boss has to sign a disclaimer because we have to get permission from the municipality unless the graffiti is 'offensive or obscene'.
I have had no problems fitting into a team.
I don't have much contact with the public and when I do, it goes relatively well. If I witness inappropriate behaviour, I can't do anything but make a comment because my job doesn't allow me to go beyond that. I have had no problems fitting into a team, I just have dyslexia problems.
I come to work in a good mood every morning. The message I want to pass on? Train employees in diversity with a capital D.
