The City of Brussels offers a variety of ways for promoting businesses. Traders can participate individually or with their neighborhood association.

Lights on Trade is a vast route that leads past the lighted streets of the city centre during the Christmas holidays. Shops can participate by extending the opening hours or by offering specific events:

Trade labels are an initiative which, every second year, select the most beautiful shops of a quarter in cooperation with the trade associations. So why not provide some additional advertising for your business and present yourself as a candidate?

A showcase, signboard or terrace are the main elements that determine the attractiveness of a business. The City offers various measures to beautify your business:
- free removal of tags
- bonus for the beautification or renovation of a facade
- harmonizing terrace furniture at district level through the Horeca Unit
