Grave concession - purchase and renewal

After a death, you have the option to acquire a grave concession to bury the mortal remains in one of the cemeteries of the City of Brussels.

If you wish to be buried but do not request a grave concession, the grave will be removed after 5 years.

If you want the remains to be buried for a specific period of time beyond the 5 years, you must apply for a grave concession. There are several choices and rates possible for the duration of the concession, but the maximum duration is 50 years.

When a grave concession term expires, the grave is removed. Renewals are possible.
