The purpose of legalisation is to guarantee that the signature on a document is that of the person who signed it.
- Your main residence must be located in the City of Brussels
- Produce the document to be legalised, drawn up in French or Dutch
Without appointment, at the counter of the Administrative Centre of the City of Brussels or the liaison offices of Laeken, Louise, Haren and Neder-Over-Heembeek.

- Identity card or residence permit
- If power of attorney: power of attorney + copy of the applicant's identity card or residence permit and the signed document with the original signature to be legalised
