Week of Biodiversity

From 22 to 28 May 2023 at various locations in Brussels.

In 1993, the United Nations introduced International Biodiversity Day, which takes place each year on 22 May. This global campaign aims to make citizens aware of the wide variety of plant and animal species on Earth. With that in mind, the City of Brussels is organising the third edition of the Week of Biodiversity.

The Biodiversity Week includes lots of events and activities, such as nature and biodiversity workshops and guided walks. To participate in the activities, you must register in advance via: biodiversite@brucity.be.
