The Cleaning Service of the City of Brussels has set up a Unit for Booking illegal dumping. This new team is committed to identifying and verbalizing people who do not respect public space.

The Nelson Mandela Sports Centre in Neder-Over-Heembeek was inaugurated on Wednesday 11 October 2017. This new sports venue, part of the Petit Chemin Vert Sports Centre, is mainly intended for rugby and football.

A new mural can be seen on the corner of the Rue du Tocsin and the Rue Jenneval as part of the Street Art Trail of the City of Brussels. The colorful painting called The First Date of the Brussels artist Oli-B was made at the request of the residents' committee of the neighborhood.
