​Coronavirus measures

The City of Brussels has taken several decisions in order to best respect the measures of the federal government in the fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19). Please note: at the Administrative Centre & liaison offices, all citizens are asked to come alone, maximum 15 minutes before the appointment time, wear a face mask (obligatory) and disinfect their hands.

Winners of the Heyvaert-Poincaré URC project call

Within the Heyvaert-Poincaré Urban Renewal Contract (URC), the City of Brussels and the municipalities of Anderlecht and Molenbeek jointly launched a project call to strengthen solidarity, mutual aid and social ties in the neighborhoods around the Porte de Ninove (Ninoofsepoort). Thanks to this call, 7 projects now get started with a budget of between 500 and 10,000 euros.

On Saturday 27 March 2021, the City of Brussels will participate again in the Earth Hour event of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). From 8:30 pm, the lights of the City Hall, the facades of the Grand-Place and the Atomium will be switched off for an hour.
