April issue of the Brusseleir, projects by quarter
The April issue of the Brusseleir, the information magazine of the City of Brussels, is available on this website and in paper version at the various distribution points of the city. The magazine is only in Dutch and French.
Winners of the 2021 Made in Marolles call
The fourth call for citizens' initiatives 'Made in Marolles' (closed at 8 November 2021) was aimed at supporting small-scale local initiatives within the Marolles sustainable district contract. A presentation of the 14 winners of this call is now available here.
Earth Hour at the Grand-Place, Atomium and Bourse
On Saturday 23 March 2024, the City of Brussels will participate again in the Earth Hour event of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). From 8:30 pm, the lights of the City Hall, the facades of the Grand-Place and the Atomium will be switched off for an hour. A silent disco will be organised at the Bourse of Brussels.

Since the beginning of the crisis in Ukraine, questions have arisen regarding the situation of Russian citizens who are legally residing in Belgium, or who wish to come there.
Temporary protection application and registration for Ukrainians
Ukrainian nationals residing in Ukraine and third-country nationals or stateless persons enjoying protection in Ukraine and their family members may apply for temporary protection in Belgium. After this temporary protection application they can register at the municipality.
