From 2 to 14 October 2023, the Public Cleaning Service is going to collect the bulky waste in Brussels.

The City of Brussels and the Communes of Anderlecht, Etterbeek, Ixelles, Uccle, Koekelberg, Saint-Gilles, Watermael-Boitsfort and Forest are organising a large collection of donations from citizens for animal shelters. From 4 to 11 October 2023, you can drop off your donations at various locations.

The City of Brussels is opening new courses in its French-language higher education and social promotion education.

The October issue of the Brusseleir, the information magazine of the City of Brussels, is available on this website and in paper version at the various distribution points of the city. The magazine is only in Dutch and French.

Tutoring or study support is available all over Brussels, in community centres, youth centres, children's homes and study rooms in libraries, for example.

On Sunday 1 October 2023 the Brussels Marathon will be held in Brussels. Some roads and tunnels will be closed to traffic.
