The telephone call centre of the City is currently experiencing technical failures. It is therefore sometimes difficult to contact the various services by phone. You can still request your documents online and on the citizen portal External site MyBXL, or make an appointment.

European Summit in Brussels on 23 and 24 March 2023
On Thursday 23 and Friday 24 March 2023, a European Summit will be held in Brussels in the buildings of the Council of the European Union, at the Rue de la Loi. A safety zone will be set up. Only authorized persons can enter this zone on foot.
Tender for the Multi Tower (former Brouckère Tower)
The Property Management Agency of the City of Brussels is issuing a tender for the 'Multi Tower' (Boulevard Anspach 1 - 1000 Brussels). This with a view to granting a paying, irrevocable, exclusive and (subject to conditions) transferable option to take out a 50-year ground lease, after the expiry of the current lease on 2 February 2066.
Sign the petition to release Olivier Vandecasteele
Belgian Olivier Vandecasteele, who has been imprisoned in Iran since 24 February 2022, was sentenced to 40 years in prison and 74 lashes for espionage on Tuesday 10 January. All this while he has been working for a humanitarian organisation for years. He has since been imprisoned in very poor conditions.
'Girls Make The City' podcasts
In 2022, the City of Brussels launched a call for projects on gender and urban planning. One of the winning projects was Girls Make The City by the non-profit organisation ZIJkant and Wetopia.
Climate call for projects 2023
The City of Brussels has a budget to encourage climate projects on its territory. Submit your project no later than 15 September 2023.
