In Belgium, a trader can only sell products under the name 'sales' ('solden' in Dutch, 'soldes' in French) twice a year. Both periods of sales are determined by law. The summer sales of 2022 will start on Friday 1 July.

On Thursday 23 and Friday 24 June 2022, a European Summit will be held in Brussels in the buildings of the Council of the European Union, at the Rue de la Loi. A safety zone will be set up. Only authorized persons can enter this zone on foot.

The Roller Bike Parade (including rollers, bicycles, skateboards, steps,...) will be held in Brussels, each Friday from 10 June to 23 September 2022. The start and finish are at the Place Poelaert (Law court).
