Disability Week 2023 project call
The City of Brussels is organising the Disability Week from 25 November to 3 December 2023. The form for the subsidy must be sent by 30 June 2023 at the latest.
Summer sales 2023
In Belgium, a trader can only sell products under the name 'sales' ('solden' in Dutch, 'soldes' in French) twice a year. Both periods of sales are determined by law. The summer sales of 2023 will start on Saturday 1 July.
Play of light at the Saint-Géry quarter
From 2 May to 31 July 2023, you can admire a hundred or so multicoloured plexiglas circles reflecting a play of light on the cobblestones of the Saint-Géry quarter.
Travelling abroad? Think about your travel documents!
For (Belgian) citizens going on holiday abroad: remember that you must have valid travel documents for the destination country. Therefore request them in good time, because urgent or very urgent applications are a lot more expensive.

Collection of LGBTQIA+ archives
To celebrate 20 years of same-sex marriage, the Archives and Museums of the City of Brussels are collecting objects relating to the history of LGBTQIA+ movements and cultures in Brussels. The collection preferably takes place from 10 May to 1 June 2023. Those who have items and documents can contact the Archives anytime thereafter as well.
