Redevelopment of the Place du Nouveau Marché aux Grains
The City of Brussels launched an international architectural competition for the redevelopment of the Place du Nouveau Marché aux Grains in 2023, in collaboration with the Bouwmeester Maître Architecte bruxellois (BMA). From the 5 proposals, the proposal of the Fallow-Basil Descheemaeker team was selected by a jury. The team will now be commissioned to further develop the proposal.
Extraordinary European Summit in Brussels on 17 and 18 April 2024
On Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 April 2024, an extraordinary European Summit will be held in Brussels in the buildings of the Council of the European Union, at the Rue de la Loi. A safety zone will be set up. Only authorised persons can enter this zone on foot.

The BXL Tour cycling race will again be held in Brussels on Sunday 16 June 2024, starting at the Place des Palais. Registrations are open from 30 March (9 am) to 15 June 2024.
