Car Free Sunday in Brussels on 22 September 2024
On Sunday 22 September 2024, Brussels organises its traditional Car Free Sunday. From 9:30 am till 7 pm, motor vehicles are not allowed in the Brussels Region, including the City of Brussels.
Street art tour of drinking water fountains
As part of its Climate Plan, the City of Brussels is committed to improving access to water, a precious commodity in hot weather. By working with street artists (OakOak, Jaune, Lucile van Laeken), the drinking water fountains are being brought back to life as emblematic watering holes. So they regain their central role in the public space.
