The City of Brussels has taken several decisions in order to best respect the measures of the federal government in the fight against the coronavirus (Covid-19). Please note: at the Administrative Centre & liaison offices, all citizens are asked to come alone, maximum 15 minutes before the appointment time, wear a face mask (obligatory) and disinfect their hands.

Wanted: female street names

The City of Brussels joins the call for more 'women in the streets'. The inhabitants of Brussels can suggest female heroes who deserve a place in the public space, but they can also propose places, squares and parks that do not yet have a name.

Redevelopment of the Place de Ninove

The City of Brussels is planning a complete redevelopment of the Place de Ninove (Ninoofseplein) from facade to facade. The Rue de la Poudrière (Kruitmolenstraat) that runs along the square is also being redeveloped. The entire perimeter is leveled and will turn into a residential area.

From Monday 28 January 2019, traffic will be adapted at he Porte du Rivage. Car traffic will be interrupted from the Quai au Foin to the Quai du Commerce-Boulevard d'Ypres.
