On the Brussels Fastlane website you can calculate your travel time to places of interest in the centre of Brussels: the Grand-Place, the Grand Hospice Guinguette, the Rooftop Garden, the Flea Market of the Place du Jeu de Balle (Vossenplein), the Grand Sablon, the Royal Park and its kiosk, Sainte-Catherine and the pedestrian zone.
Leaf bins for falling leaves
This year, with autumn and the traditional 'falling of the leaves', the Cleaning Service is putting leaf bins (baskets) in certain tree-lined streets to collect the leaves.

The City of Brussels has launched a campaign to improve pedestrian safety in the city centre. 'No excuses!' is the slogan of the new campaign, which gives priority to pedestrians.
